One Box Instead of a Container and a Pot
Most people carry a plastic box for the food and a separate pot to heat it. That is two objects, two cleanups, and a plastic container that stains, holds last week's smell, and cannot go anywhere near a flame. Bare titanium removes the second object. Nothing to coat, nothing to flake, nothing that cares about fire.
Note: this box is not insulated. It does not keep food hot, it makes food hot. Lid off, over a flame, in the container it travelled in. Straight off the coals the metal is exactly as hot as your dinner, so use the folding handle or a glove. Those are the trades for a box that doubles as a pan.

You will weigh it, so here is the number without the marketing around it: 254 grams, 8.9 ounces. That is lighter than most plastic meal preppers and roughly a third of a comparable steel box. At 198 x 144 x 67 mm it lies flat against a pack panel rather than fighting the rest of your load for the round space in the middle.
The wire handle folds flat across the lid so nothing snags, and it comes off entirely if you would rather it did not. Empty, it swallows the small things that always get lost: first aid, tinder, matches, coffee, a spare headlamp.

Take the lid off, swing the handle out, and set the base straight over coals, a gas burner, or a camp stove. The reinforced base resists warping and the bare metal has nothing to burn off. Food heats in the container it was carried in, which means one thing to wash in cold water afterwards instead of a pot and a box.
Heat tint from flame use is permanent. It shows up as a faint blue or gold bloom around the base and it is cosmetic. Gear that has been used looks used.

How It Works
Pack it cold. Gasket in, both hook-locks down, handle folded flat. Soup and sauce will not move.
At camp, lid off and gasket out. Swing the wire handle out to the side, clear of the heat.
Set it over coals, a gas burner, or a stove until it steams. Lift by the handle or a glove, and eat out of it.

Does it replace my camp pot?
For one person, in most cases yes. 1200 ml boils water, heats a meal, and doubles as a bowl. It is a shallow wide tin rather than a deep pot, so it is not the right tool for a large volume boil or for cooking for three.
Will it fail twenty miles from the trailhead?
There is very little on it to fail. No coating to wear through, no plastic to crack in the cold, no hinge to snap. The wire latches and the bail are titanium and sit close to the wall so there is nothing proud to catch and bend. Worst realistic case is a dented corner from a hard drop onto rock, which does not stop it working.
Does titanium change how food tastes?
No. Titanium is inert and does not react with acidic or salty food, which is why it does not hold flavours the way plastic does and does not give the metallic note steel can.
Is it dishwasher safe, and can I microwave it?
Dishwasher safe, and the gasket pops out for deep cleaning. Never microwave it. It is metal. Reheat over a flame or a burner with the lid off.
